Regional Sales Manager


Trigo Global Quality is a Service Provider: The RSM will be Selling 3rd Party Quality Solutions including Inspection/Quality Engineering and Training to Automotive Manufacturers/General Manufacturers

We are looking for a regional sales manager (RSM) who can maintain and build a base of customers in the following markets: automotive manufacturing, consumer goods manufacturing, electronics and others.  The Regional Sales Manager will have a keen understanding of the needs of manufacturers, particularly automotive, combined with knowledge of quality initiatives, then we want to hear from you.  

This position reports directly to the VP of Sales & will split their time working out of their home office and visiting new and existing customers. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

Regional Sales Managers develop new business opportunities with Tier 1 automotive accounts.  Your success will be dependent on your ability to prospect, qualify, service and build relationships with key decision makers in quality including quality managers, plant managers and supplier quality.

In this role, the regional sales manager will:

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities for their potential
  • Prospect new clients through cold calling, networking, SMM, attending trade shows, etc.
  • Maintain and grow existing business
  • Develop sales by making initial presentations; explaining service benefits
  • Prepare proposals and presentations

Required Skills: 

  • Experience selling Services to large and medium size accounts required
  • Ability to close new business
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Results driven, passion to succeed, resourceful
  • Ability to work out of a home office
  • Self-motivated, energetic, enthusiastic
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Proven B2B Sales experience selling services
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (specifically Japanese) will set you ahead of the pack
  • Diploma or Degree preferred in Business
  • 5+ years experience selling to automotive parts manufacturers and/or general manufacturers
  • Knowledge of quality systems and processes is a definite asset
